Mayumi Yoshida

Actress Mayumi Yoshida is from Tokyo,Japan. She moved to Vancouver in 2010 to attend Vancouver Film School Acting for Film and Television Program. She made her playwright debut at the 2016 Vancouver Fringe Festival for "NeOnね音" at The Cultch which she directed and starred in as well. She is best known for her role on The Man in The High Castle(Amazon Studios) which got her the nomination for BEST EMERGING ACTOR at the UBCP/ACTRA AWARDS(2016). Her film directing debut short "Akashi-あかし-" which she wrote/acted in as well, won the Grand prize at TELUS Storyhive’s Digital Shorts contest, and is currently the finalist for NBC UNIVERSAL Short Film festival.
