Through the power of community, we are bringing to light the stories of game changers that are challenging the status quo. STORYHIVE is providing 30 documentary projects with $20,000 grants to capture stories of local game changers that are making their community a better place. We want to hear about community members who are finding new and innovative ways to make their communities more connected, sustainable, healthier and equitable.
Edition: Indigenous Storyteller
Spotlighting 30 Indigenous-led film projects with $20,000 in production funding along with training and mentorship, plus additional top-up funding from the Indigenous Screen Office and Creative BC.
Kickstart your content creation journey with $10,000 in production funding, training, peer mentorship, and a community of support.
In partnership with VoVo Productions, this program offers free training and mentorship programs for residents with little or no experience to create their own locally reflective content.
Youth Community Stories
In partnership with Reel Youth, this program offers mentorship support for youth (ages 14-30 years old) to turn their passion for films into a career.
An opportunity for aspiring creatives who are interested in jumpstarting their broadcasting and journalism journey. Participants are supported with equipment and training, and will be featured on Vidflex and TELUS Optik TV®. Livestream the stories that matter most to you.
