Status
Voices
Voices supports new and emerging digital content creators with production funding, training, a community of support and distribution to produce locally reflective episodic video series.
Youth Community Stories
In partnership with Reel Youth, this program offers skills development, media literacy and mentorship support for youth (ages 14-24) to turn their passion for content creation into a lifelong pursuit.
Empowered Filmmaker
In partnership with VoVo Productions, this program is a five day intensive, all inclusive Indigenous-focused film program that offers robust training, equipment and mentorship to remote Indigenous communities across B.C. and Alberta.
Editions
Editions support new and emerging filmmakers with production funding, training, professional mentorship and distribution to produce locally reflective short films and documentaries. Exclusive one on one mentorship is provided in partnership with the National Screen Institute. Additionally, Focused Editions provide underrepresented communities more opportunity to share their stories on screen. For example, the Black Creators Edition and Indigenous Storyteller Edition.
Video Podcast
Video Podcast provides new and emerging podcasters the opportunity to produce and evolve a video podcast, while building community relationships and diving deep on diverse topics. This program provides production funding, training, a community of support and distribution. Training is provided in partnership with Jar Audio.
On Location
On Location supports up-and-coming live stream presenters, hosts and enthusiasts to capture hyper-local stories in their communities through a live interview format. Crews self-define their learning goals and are provided with production funding, training, a free equipment package for the duration of the program and distribution.
