Video Podcast
The inaugural STORYHIVE Video Podcast program is providing $12,000 grants for new and emerging podcasters in BC and Alberta. Whether you’re picking up a mic for the first time, or looking to gain the knowledge or tools to take your podcast to the next level, this program is for you. Your Mic, Your Platform.
Youth Community Stories
In partnership with Reel Youth, this program offers mentorship support for youth (ages 14-30 years old) to turn their passion for films into a career.
Edition: All Access
Looking for local stories about community builders, health and wellness leaders, innovative local technology, the environment and more.
Edition: Indigenous Storyteller
Spotlighting 30 Indigenous-led film projects with $20,000 in production funding along with training and mentorship, plus additional top-up funding from the Indigenous Screen Office and Creative BC.
Edition: Anniversary
It’s the largest edition yet! Celebrate a decade of creativity with us by pitching any story to STORYHIVE’s Anniversary Documentary Edition. We are funding 80 content creators with $20,000 in production funding, along with mentorship, training and distribution.

Community Stories
In partnership with VoVo Productions, this program offers free training and mentorship programs for residents with little or no experience to create their own locally reflective content.
Summer Crew
An opportunity for aspiring creatives who are interested in jumpstarting their broadcasting and journalism journey. Participants are supported with equipment and training, and will be featured on Vidflex and TELUS Optik TV®. Livestream the stories that matter most to you.
