Editions: Your Story, Your Narrative
Editions support new and emerging filmmakers with production funding, training, professional mentorship and distribution to produce locally reflective short films and documentaries. Exclusive one on one mentorship is provided in partnership with the National Screen Institute.
Additionally, Focused Editions provide underrepresented communities more opportunity to share their stories on screen. For example, the Black Creators Edition and Indigenous Storyteller Edition.

Edition: Anniversary
It’s the largest edition yet! Celebrate a decade of creativity with us by pitching any story to STORYHIVE’s Anniversary Documentary Edition. We are funding 80 content creators with $20,000 in production funding, along with mentorship, training and distribution.
Edition: Indigenous Storyteller
Spotlighting 30 Indigenous-led film projects with $20,000 in production funding along with training and mentorship, plus additional top-up funding from the Indigenous Screen Office and Creative BC.

Looking for local stories about community builders, health and wellness leaders, innovative local technology, the environment and more.
Scripted Edition
STORYHIVE Scripted Edition is offering new and emerging filmmakers $20,000 in production funding to produce a 20-45 minute locally reflective narrative film. In addition to the funding, selected projects will also receive mentorship from the National Screen Institute and distribution on TELUS Optik TV and the STORYHIVE YouTube channel.
