Callen Russell

I have a passion for storytelling and have studied photography at SAIT and have some experience with video editing. I have pursued story ideas in the past but nothing has really spoken to me about committing my energies and time. Until now! 10 years ago, I was fortunate to have a daughter. This has changed my life. My daughter Lily was born completely blind. Not only did she change my world, she also gave me a different vision of life. It has been a real eye opener … pun intended! I was oblivious to the challenges of the blind and Lily has taught me so much about her situation. Lily has a spirt of giving and wants to start a blog and create an online platform to help others afflicted with this impairment. As a filmmaker I would like to tell this story.
