I'm Kieran Fong, a documentary filmmaker from Edmonton, Alberta. I've always been drawn to storytelling that highlights meaningful social issues, and my passion led me to create two documentary shorts that I'm incredibly proud of. My first film, "Exodus: A Vietnamese Refugee's Journey to Canada," is a personal exploration of my father's harrowing experience as a Vietnamese refugee. It's a story close to my heart, and I'm grateful for the positive feedback it has received from both viewers and industry professionals. My second film, "Hippocrates: A Guide to Treating Healthcare Workers," dives into the devastating consequences of privatization on the Canadian healthcare system. Through exploring vital social issues, I hope to inspire and engage viewers to take action.
