Chad Charlie

As a storyteller I have spent ten years as a performing artist in stand-up comedy and spoken word poetry. This role has given me skills and experience in writing quality stories and dialogue that not only shares perspective but captivates the attention of my audience. Over the last couple years I have studied film and screenwriting, working with some very prominent filmmakers in the industry. Earning my first professional film credit, I worked as a Production Assistant on a Sundance feature film selection. I have also gained experience in film by providing assistance in short films and directing my own artistic shorts. My professional goal is to utilize my experience and knowledge in film and storytelling as a filmmaker, providing quality content with Indigenous/Black representation.
