Shawn Savard

Starting as the keyboardist of Random Task Collective, I had won X92.9's xPosure contest in 2009, performed at SouthXSouthwest in 2011, and played over 300 shows before my 18th birthday. Other highlights include working with Eli Brueggemmann (current musical director for Saturday Night Live) and GGGarth Richardson (Producer for Rage Against The Machine and others) along with co-hosting the first All Ages stage at the Sled Island Music Festival. As of 2014, I play bass and sing as part of the garage rock outfit Detractions in Calgary, AB. We released an EP through Transistor 66 Records in 2017 and are releasing a demo in summer 2018. I am now working in film, having graduated with honours from SAIT's Film and Video Production program in 2018, with an extensive and ever-expanding resume.
