Synopsis
Podcast hosts, Nick Dangeli of the several nations, Michael Wright Gitsxan Wetsu'wet'en nations, love movies, tv shows any type of entertainment media, especially Indigenous content! Whether it's from First Nation peoples, Maori, Japanese etc, you name it, they'll love it! The channel name for their podcast is called; Does It Make The Cut? Though the channel did recently start, the overall goal is to reach out to the audience spreading awareness of indigenous content and when the channel grows into a larger platform, we hope to interview celebrities and aspiring local filmmakers to have a conversation of their works.

Loretta is a part of the Mètis and Cree nation, a true pioneer and arguably the most influential First Nation filmmaker, with a heart of gold and always trying to make aboriginal content for all ages. Her most recent work "Monkey Beach" with it's colourful and rich story, finally reaching the big screen and a momentous occasion for all people of colour. In "Does It Make The Cut" she will discuss the process and her work.
Michael Wright a part of the Gitsxan, Wetsu'wet'en nation, former student of Capilano University. One of the hosts for "Does It Make The Cut" for a Youtube Channel.
Màijà is a part of the Blackfoot and Sàmi nations, she's acted and directed some her work. Her most notable project; "The Body Remember When The World Broke Open." The film made waves in the indy world and no signs of slowing down in her work. In the podcast she will go deeper in depth of the process of her work and future projects she's got planting Indigenous content in the public eye.
Marie is a part of the Mètis nation, an award winning Indigenous filmmaker. Her recent success "Red Snow" is arguably her crowning achievement, in "Does It Make The Cut" Marie will talk about the inspiration for her work and what what drives her.
Nick Dangeli is a part of the Nisga’a, Tsimshian, Tlingit, Haida, Gitxsan, Tsetuate & Colville nations. An exceptional Indigenous creator's talent varying from; Writer, Director and now Podcast host to a new Youtube channel; "Does It Make The Cut."
