Synopsis

Alice, a lonely orphan teen girl struggling with a mood disorder is befriended by Rose, an outgoing newcomer at school. Rose becomes the only notion of family, purpose or belonging that Alice has ever had. When Rose dies in a fatal event Alice finds herself alone, facing regret, grief and depression. Her desire for answers propels her to embark on a hunt for truth that ultimately sparks an odyssey into a dark and dangerous underworld filled with conspiracy and twists. As the mystery unravels, the emotional turmoil that has always impaired her, ignites the development of unexplained superhuman abilities. As as a mysterious organization begins to take chase, Alice must now use her powers to evade capture and navigate through a maze of broken trust in order to find freedom.
