About the song

The song is the touring musician's lament. The hook, written by Tom Thum is an ode to life on the road - moving from town to town, only having his “word to spread”. The Funk Hunters, now based in YVR, live most of the year on the road. We want to take them back to where they started on Galiano Island, showing the land that lit their creative fires

One of the best sunset locations you will find in all of BC. No CGI needed.
Bringing road to home, we would project archival live footage and lyrics onto the surrounding landscapes.
WIth the low ambient light on the island, Galiano offers unparalleled stargazing. A component of our project is animating the chorus lyrics into the surrounding spaces. For the stars we'd do time lapse video to capture the movement of the earth.
Secret "Locals Only" area on Galiano with stunning 360 views of the Gulf Islands. We'd use drones to help us capture the full beauty of the area while The Funk Hunters & Chali 2na perform.
