Alexander Canaran

Originally from small-town Ontario, I attended a Dramatic Arts university specializing in performance, directing, writing, and production and had my work performed publicly. I transitioned to Film and TV post-graduation, both in front and behind the camera. Eventually, I created Waking World Productions where I make web and video content for a variety of clients, as well as recently producing my first short film Jack (2021). Some of my achievements include being a RISE Youth Entrepreneurship Program alum, and the first-ever recipient of the In-Memory of Allan Slight Grant for Entrepreneurship. I currently live in Vancouver, BC, where I continue to develop my craft and also maintain a job in travel and tourism.
