Kelly Finerty

Kelly has loved movie making through the decades, and trained in directing, producing, writing, and editing various projects with TRU in the mid-90s. She consulted for corporate projects in the 2000s, and produced, wrote, directed, and edited her Master of Arts thesis film in 2011 with the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. Seeing a need for filmmaking resources on Vancouver Island, in 2015 Kelly and her partner Dustin opened Finerty Studios Inc. in Victoria, BC. In 2020, Finerty Studios transformed into film production company, Typewriter Rebellion, where Kelly produces, writes, directs, and consults on local film projects. Kelly's future in filmmaking will take her to writing, directing and show running studio projects for worldwide audiences.
