I'm a wife, mom of 4, & a lover of "people". As a mental health/suicide awareness advocate for Soul Sisters Memorial Foundation and a crisis responder with decades of experience for Victim Services, I am comfortable bringing some of the "uncomfortable" topics of discussion to the forefront in hopes of raising awareness and ending stigmas attached to mental health & self worth. 7 years ago I became a grief counsellor which has given me the opportunity to continue walking with others through their journey. A role & privilege I will never take for granted. Whether you catch me in my "day job" as a print & digital media manager or volunteering - my heart opens when others share their story with me. I was honoured to receive the Queens Platinum Jubilee Medal for my work and compassion in 2022.
