Tristan Oliver

Tristan Oliver is a graduate of the Capilano University Documentary Program and alumnus of the Banff Adventure Filmmaker's Workshop. He is currently shifting professions from IATSE Journeyman to storyteller with the release of Thru-Hike, a personal journey essay film about his epic completion of the Pacific Crest Trail. He is working on his second documentary about the first climbing hut currently being built on a remote mountain on Vancouver Island by an all volunteer crew of outdoor enthusiasts. Tristan snowbirds south to California to be with family, catch some waves and maintain roots.
