Harold Joe

As a member of Cowichan Tribes, Harold works as a cultural worker, archeological consultant, documentary filmmaker, and producer. He does this to preserve and teach about the values and traditions of his ancestral Cowichan culture. Harold’s on camera appearances includes his work as Xavier in the first season of the web series Ollie and Emma, performing in 1491: The Untold Story of the Americas Before Columbus. He is the host, co-director, and executive producer of the Telus Storyhive documentary Dust n' Bones. He helps inform and educate people on the cultural protocol and teachings that have been handed down through generations pertaining to the handling of his Ancestral People.
