Laura Kelsey

A WCMA-nominated vocal artist and songwriter currently living on Vancouver Island, B.C., Laura Kelsey has fronted metal, blues and folk bands for over a decade, playing events and festivals across the province as well as performing and releasing music as a solo artist such as "A Foolish Thing" in 2021. Laura has been involved in a number of film projects from music videos to background work to featuring in short films. In 2021, she wrote and directed the shorts tub and Subscribe, which both won awards including Fan Favourite at the CineCentral One-Minute Movie Challenge.
