Stories evolve. Communities evolve.

So should the brands that support them.

TELUS has contributed more than $400 million to Canadian storytelling. Since 2013, more than $166 million of that investment has been delivered through TELUS Local Content, helping 4,700 creators share stories that reflect the communities, cultures and lived experiences that make our country so unique.

What began as a commitment to championing local voices has grown into a thriving ecosystem of programs supporting emerging creators and established documentary filmmakers across British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec.

As our community has grown, so has our vision.

Today, I’m excited to share the next step in that journey: a refreshed visual identity for TELUS STORYHIVE, TELUS Originals and maCommunauté TELUS.

While you’ll notice new logos and a more cohesive look across our programs, this evolution represents something much bigger than a design refresh. It’s about creating a connected identity that reflects where we’ve been, celebrates who we are today and positions us for the future.

A New Look. The Same Commitment.

If you’re a creator, filmmaker or member of one of the communities we serve, here’s what you need to know:

Our logos are changing. Our commitment isn’t.

Over the past several years, TELUS Local Content has continued to evolve. We’ve expanded our portfolio, welcomed maCommunauté TELUS into our family of content brands and watched our creator community flourish as more Canadians discover and engage with local stories.

It became clear that our visual identity should evolve alongside that growth.

Our refreshed brands create a more connected ecosystem while preserving the unique identity of each program. Together, they reflect a shared purpose: empowering Canadian creators to tell authentic stories that strengthen communities, celebrate diverse perspectives and inspire meaningful conversations.

More Than a Logo Refresh

For me, this evolution is especially meaningful because I’ve had the privilege of watching these programs grow firsthand.

I’ve seen first-time creators receive their very first production grant through TELUS STORYHIVE and go on to build remarkable careers. I’ve watched documentary filmmakers tackle challenging social issues through TELUS Originals, creating films that spark conversations well beyond the screen. And I’ve seen maCommunauté TELUS become an important platform celebrating Francophone voices and communities across Quebec.

Those experiences remind me that the true measure of our content brands is the impact they deliver.

They represent opportunities.

They represent creators taking their first step.

They represent communities seeing themselves reflected on screen.

Three Programs. One Shared Purpose.

While each brand serves a unique audience, they all contribute to the same vision of strengthening Canadian storytelling.

TELUS STORYHIVE continues to empower new and emerging creators through funding, mentorship and hands-on training, helping launch the next generation of Canadian and Indigenous storytellers.

TELUS Originals continues to elevate established Canadian and Indigenous filmmakers to produce compelling documentaries that explore important issues and celebrate the diverse experiences shaping our communities.

maCommunauté TELUS continues to amplify Francophone voices by creating local programming that informs, connects and celebrates communities throughout Quebec.

Together, these programs represent one of Canada’s most comprehensive local content ecosystems, supporting storytellers at every stage of their creative journey.

Built for the Future

Communities don’t stand still.

Neither should the programs that support them.

This refreshed identity creates a stronger foundation for the future as TELUS Local Content continues investing in Canadian and Indigenous creators, exploring new opportunities and connecting more audiences with stories that matter.

While our look has evolved, the principles guiding our work remain unchanged.

We’ll continue investing in creators.

We’ll continue supporting authentic local storytelling.

We’ll continue helping communities see themselves reflected on screen.

Because great Canadian stories deserved to be heard and shared with all our communities.

Thank You

To every creator who has trusted us with your ideas.

To every filmmaker who has shared your vision.

To every audience member who has supported Canadian storytelling.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

I invite you to explore our refreshed brands across our platforms and, more importantly, continue discovering the incredible stories being created by communities across Canada.

This is the next chapter of TELUS Local Content—and we’re just getting started.
