Team STORYHIVE is thrilled to announce the filmmakers selected for the TELUS STORYHIVE Scripted Edition! We were blown away by the incredible response with over 400 submission pitches from across British Columbia and Alberta.

We are excited to announce that we will be funding 40 emerging filmmakers to produce their short to mid-length fiction films or community TV pilots.

These selected recipients will each receive $20,000 in production funding, plus training, one-on-one mentorship (provided by the National Screen Institute) and distribution on TELUS Optik TV, Stream+ and STORYHIVE's YouTube channel.

With the generous support of the Alberta Film Commission and Creative BC, all projects in the program will also receive an additional $5,000 of top-up funding.
