The Ashley Hundred’s ‘Falling Up’ is a folkadelic reverie of hyperbolically colourful proportions. A driving camera push takes us (the audience! or you with a tiny phone screen) through alternating worlds of musical performance.

The Ashley Hundred

We will bring our unique sound and style to life on the screen. Giving audiences far and wide a better picture of our story.

About the song

'...from our endeavours in the mountains, sort of keeping your head down and making your way up, although your eyes are fixed on the ground, having your own intimate thoughts...' We dolly past the band playing on various physical stages. The backdrop will collapse and another stage will appear. Each stage will represent a different visual world.

We are constantly striving to get more eyes on work coming out of Alberta, and we try to do this on every creative project we take on.

Why I want to work with The Ashley Hundred

The Ashley Hundred are creating (in our unbiased opinion) some of the most unique, textured, and beautiful sounds coming out of Western Canada. Their music is a vibrant outburst of colourful psychedelic energy. Getting a chance to represent their sound with a crazy-ambitious concept is something we can't wait to create.

Marketing Plan

Social Media

Social Media

We will begin our social media campaign with an announcement of our involvement in the contest on May 3rd on The Ashley Hundred Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. This will be followed with posts every day on Twitter, and every 3rd day on Facebook and Instagram to remind followers of our involvement in the contest, and that they can vote each day. The social media posts will be accompanied by a Facebook event page. It will include a link to the voting platform, where we will post daily reminder for family, friends, and fans to vote for our project.

Friends & Family

Friends & Family

While The Ashley Hundred does have an expanding and dedicated following of fans, the most engaged are our personal family and friends. To ensure that we capitalize on the dedication of these individuals, each member of the band will personally engage with a minimum of 20 individuals, on at least 3 occurrences throughout the voting period to remind them to vote, and to share our project with their networks. This will ensure that The Ashley Hundred has a dedicated team of 100 individuals consistently sharing our project.

Canadian Tour!

Canadian Tour!

The Ashley Hundred has 9 scheduled tour dates across Canada that fall within the voting period. During each one of these shows, we will announce our involvement in the competition while on stage. We will also print out small flyers that have a link to the voting platform, with information about our project to all attendees that we speak with, and have them present in our merchandise area. While on tour, The Ashley Hundred will be performing street busking sessions in Toronto, and surrounding cities where we will be handing out these flyers to listeners as well.
