Ryan Mumby

Equal parts upbeat pop and brooding dark side, In Codes uses their loves, lives, and fears as ammunition for their songs, and clandestinely plants hooks in your head while you’re not looking. Noel & Ryan have been playing music together for five years in different configurations, including yyc veterans The Martyr Index, and started writing for this project in 2013. They met their missing link, drummer Adam (Open Sails/Run Romeo Run), through working at the Calgary institution the Ship & Anchor. With the group complete, the electronic, modern element of their sound became even more defined with the addition of samples and electronic percussion. Watch for In Codes making their live debut in spring 2015 with intent to record and release their first full length album by mid-late 2016.
