Synopsis

In an undisclosed laboratory in an undisclosed time, an elderly engineer completes the assembly of a humanoid robot child and introduces it to wonderful new things. "Alpha" the newly born android, is quick to discover the limitations that being an android can bring in a world of cold technologies. This reinvention of the classic scene from "Pinocchio" uses modern digital cinema technologies combined with classic special effects techniques including practical sets, miniature models and stop animation, and puppeteering, making it a perfect homage to the origins of science fiction cinema.

The team

Alpha promises to be an amazing indie venture employing some amazing animators, puppeteers, and cinematographers from Vancouver's film community. If your curious how to get involved please contact me ERON CARRUTH. We could use the help
