Model Kristina Mitchel is wearing a pair of earrings designed by Valerie Davidson-Oar, a Vancouver jewelry designer. This will be her first showing of her collection when not accessorizing another designers look. Valerie will be opening our show with her collection.

Designer Linda Kay Peters' mother is a survivor of the residential school system. She was brutalized and raped. She was almost killed but she survived. Linda draws her strength from her mother and her culture. She has used fashion designing to tell her story and spread the word about MMIWG. She recently showed her collection at Paris Fashion Week and has previously shown in New York, Vancouver, and Kamloops. She has been commissioned by Mrs. Universe to create buckskin dresses for competition. An Elder who is highly respected in her community of Hope BC and Seabird Island, hailing from Ontario
