Synopsis

Coextinction tells the story of the imminent extinction of the endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales off the coast of British Columbia, the people fighting to save this species, and the dangers facing humans and the entire ecosystem. Coextinction travels to Canada’s wild and beautiful West Coast, capturing an intimate and provoking story of extraordinary people fighting to save an extraordinary species. Coextinction empowers its audience to create a more sustainable future. Its story challenges us to make responsible and informed decisions, and to further understand and protect our interconnected ecosystems (before they disappear). Coextinction’s audience falls in love with its wildlife, humans and landscapes. Ultimately, people protect what they love.
