    Synopsis

When you think about Kamloops, what comes to mind? A pulp mill. A place you have to drive through to get where you need to be. Maybe TRU. What most people don't think about is technology and innovation. But that's all started to change, and Kamloops is now home to KIC, which in 4 years has helped over 35 technology based startups enter the market, and these startups are doing amazing things. There's a drone company changing the way we control forest fires. A worksite management company that allows you to track employees and tasks in real time. A mapping company that is making data more accessible and easier to track. Our documentary will look at how they all got here, thanks to the bold vision of KIC, and where they look to take off to in the future.
