We're going to check out a few of Alberta's national parks and see what the heck the bison, and other neet things are up to over there!
We want to go check out the Rocky Mountains once the snow falls, and see what that's all about!
We're going to hang out with a falcon handler while exploring the ecosystems these amazing birds of prey spend time in.
The first step to a strong promo plan, is to create content that total strangers will want to promote. During the writing, filming and editing of this project we will keep the question "would I watch this if I had no idea who the creators were?" at the forefront of every decision.
There is a large number of popular Facebook pages dedicated to sharing content about sustainability and cool nature facts. If we win this grant, we will begin reaching out to these pages to develop relationships with them for when the full episodes are released. The goal would be to create partnerships with at least 10 pages for them to share our content when it is released.
A portion of our budget will be put towards creating marketing materials and online advertising. This will allow us to get between 2000-5000 min. views on each video. This will increase the likelihood that unique viewers stick around when it shows up on their social media feeds, therefore, increasing the likelihood of organic growth.
Similar to Facebook pages, there are a ton of online publications dedicated to spreading information about nature, animals and sustainability. We will try to get our content in front of as many of these publishes as possible and hope that we get a few shares from it. A share from one of the big boys could result in thousands of brand new eyeballs on the show.
