About the song

Conquer was written (lyrically) about interactions & conversations with others, usually older people, who advised us not to follow music and to focus on something less unpredictable and more reliable. So the song is a way of saying "you know what, I don't believe you, I trust myself and i have total faith & confidence in this band."

The video is a parallel between a young kid and a middle aged man. Both of them are limited to passive behaviour.

Why I want to work with //AMISTAD//

We’re inspired by each other’s work. I find their music is vibrant, joyful and motivating. When they explained the meaning behind the song Conquer, it made sense to me. With my previous job (before going freelance), I was paid very well but felt irrelevant, and was afraid of leaving because I knew I’d have trouble paying bills doing what I love.
