A 25-year-old motherless daughter meets a blindfolded painter and find that they meet in another world, too.
Deep down underneath the world, too-young girls walk through an emptiness, forever in size and time. A place where comfort runs and peace escapes, the girls who inhabit it can't find a way to look at one another. It's a space for motherless daughters, who row after row sit separately and cry, sit separately and scream. Twenty-five year old Evary wakes from this space and from a faint on the floor of an outdoor art market with forty-five year old Jaynie fanning over her. A painter who paints only blindfolded, Jaynie requests to paint Evary. Their session moves to profound as they explore the layers and ways in which they are connected.
We're very pleased to introduce the team of Artists behind Evary: As our cinematographer Yong Jin Kim says - we may come from different corners of the planet but we share a heart in our artistry. If you are interested in auditioning, pls contact us.
In their other lives, underneath this world, the girls wander endlessly through coldness, dampness and emptiness. Side by side and row after row they live in this other version of themselves - each one crowded and hallow, crowded and alone.
At 45 years old, 35 after the loss of her mother, Jaynie stifles her screams from another world.
