Sidney Shapiro

I hold a PhD in Social Network Analytics from Laurentian University, with a strong academic foundation in applied research, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI). My career includes roles as a Professor of Business Analytics at the Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge, and as a former faculty member at Cambrian College. I have extensive experience managing and collaborating on interdisciplinary research projects, including Mitacs-funded initiatives that focus on applying AI, machine learning, and data analytics to real-world challenges in industries such as mining, agriculture, and public health.
