Brenna Kwon

Brenna Kwon is a driven, energetic, competent writer who approaches unexpected situations as a chance to think outside the box. Fluent in both Korean and English, Brenna is a bilingual, bicultural writer who incorporates her experiences growing up as a Korean immigrant in Canada in her creative works. During her time at VFS, Brenna spearheaded diversity, inclusion, and representation in her screenplays to promote decolonial narratives. She earned her undergraduate degree at UBC in Bachelor of Arts with a focus on English Literature, Theatre, and Secondary Education. She also has experience directing various theatre performances with the UBC Players' Club and their BFA Acting program.
