SUE-SHANE TSOMONDO

I am a literary arts advocate, community organizer, poet and social entrepreneur with research interests in historical fiction and restorative justice. I am also the founder of Sue's Stokvel, a literary arts platform created to uplift the work of black, Indigenous, People of colour (BIPOC) in Alberta. My work has been featured in the Calgary Journal and Avenue Magazine. I have performed my poetry locally as part of Woolf's Voices and Single Onion. I am currently in-residence at the Esker Foundation and working as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary.
