Sabrina Samuel

Sabrina Samuel (she/her) is a settler from age 3 living near the banks of the Red Deer river on Treaty 6 & 7. During the pandemic, she founded Surrender Living, an online mental health community designed to help heal families. She fought for PRIDE in Red Deer public schools and spoke for BIPOC equality and justice in Central Alberta. SHE WAS, her first book of poetry about phenomenal women, birthed in time for Sexual Violence Awareness Month (#svam). Aunty Sabby continues to find her voice to make space for those without one.
