Tamara Vukusic

Tamara Vukusic has been published in several newspapers and magazines, hosted a weekly television program and acted as official spokesperson for several national organizations. Most recently she has enjoyed sharing her love for writing poetry with school-aged students in the classroom as a volunteer and founded the Kamloops Word Walk, a free community event dreamed up to get kids (and their families) excited about creative writing. Tamara holds an honours degree from Carleton University in Journalism and Political Science. She is founder of Spark Your Imagination, a collection of games (and the Spark! App) created to encourage creativity in children and connect families. Her first book Obittersweet: Life Lessons from Obituaries will be released by Mosaic Press early 2021.
