In my international development and multimedia career, I’ve loved using communication for social change processes (film, photography, arts) with UNICEF, CARE, ActionAid, Plan, Save the Children, the Red Cross and others—focusing on youth engagement, climate change, disaster risk reduction, gender equality, and the SDGs. I love working with others to tell their stories, and connecting them to transformative change! I also write, direct and produce. My 25+ years career has included a diverse range of film projects, including the recent Storyhive film "Life Afloat" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q2aW2XYoRY), climate videos for NGOs (www.tamaraplush.com/work), and a smattering of films for corporate companies like Microsoft through my multimedia production company Smudge Productions.
