Jordan Macken is a filmmaker based in Vancouver. After directing two short films in university, he directed his first documentary Raising Ava Rose in 2019. Raising Ava Rose follows parents raising children with Down syndrome. He has worked on TV shows such as Netflix's the Haunting of Bly Manor, Altered Carbon, the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and the Order. In addition he has worked on features (Public Schooled, Buddy Games); documentaries (Robert Kirkman's Secret History of Comics); commercials (Volvo, Google Play); and music videos. Including additional experience on over a dozen short films, Jordan has worked repeatedly as a camera assistant, sound mixer, editor, and producer.
