Shayla Stonechild

Shayla Oulette Stonechild, a proud Red River Métis and Nehiyaw iskwew from Muscowpetung First Nations, is a dedicated advocate empowering Indigenous youth and women to unlock their true potential. As a global yoga ambassador for lululemon and the Founder of the "Matriarch Movement," she amplifies Indigenous voices through an online platform, podcast, and non-profit organization, offering wellness workshops to Indigenous youth and BIPOC women across Canada. Shayla made history as the first Indigenous person on the cover of "Yoga Journal" Magazine, reflecting a powerful shift towards inclusivity. Beyond her 800+ hours of yoga teacher training, she contributes to lululemon's global advisory board for mental health.
