Cate Currie

Cate Currie won a colouring contest at the age of six and has considered herself an artist ever since. She has been exhibiting her work across Canada for the past 12 years and currently works as a freelance artist and illustrator. Her focus recently being illustrated portraits, murals and design. Some of her recent clients include: The internationally renown Caravan Farm Theatre, The Tin Poppy, Element Botanicals, Rival Sons and Gob. She is also the founder of the award winning Curriebird Studios in Armstrong B.C. where she teaches weekly movement and art classes. She lives happily with her husband and two children in Enderby B.C. Cate has a deep love of humans but in a utopian world, she would live in the wild.
