Osas Eweka-Smith

Osas has over seven years of experience in Public Relations and Communications. She currently works as a Communications Specialist, Digital for the Government of Alberta where she focuses on web content strategies. Other organizations where she’s worked include the Alberta Legal Information Society, Covenant Health, City of Edmonton, and University of Alberta. Osas organizes the annual Edmonton Natural Hair Show and Maritimes Natural Hair & Beauty Show (in Halifax). She created the expo-style events to inspire people of all ages to embrace their Afro-textured hair as part of what makes them uniquely beautiful. In her spare time, Osas loves to read, travel, play football (soccer), do outdoorsy stuff, and relax with friends and family.
