Emma Power

I’m a visual artist & filmmaker with strong technical skills in motion picture lighting, grip & camera to apply to my content creation. Interning as a videographer for an arts institute in 2017 allowed me to build the technical foundation needed to establish myself in commercial film and television in Vancouver, pitch an ambitious cross-genre Storyhive project and execute it to completion in 2019. My experience as a producer and director gifts me the knowledge of what I need to convey a specific feeling and idea, and more importantly, the logistical planning and the resources needed to achieve them. My film projects aim to reflect psychological truths within individuals and society, and will continue to push the bounds of the documentary genre in jarring, emotive and comedic ways.
