Vesta Giles

Vesta Giles is a screenwriter / director and freelance writer from Kamloops, BC, Canada. Her Documentary about a group of 160 women mountain bikers, The Dirt Chix: Making Time, was produced for Telus Optik in 2019. Her first Movie of the Week, Daughter for Sale (Odyssey Media, Inc.), aired on the Lifetime Network in the US on Mother's Day weekend in 2017. Vesta finished her short film, When I'm Dead, in Kamloops in 2018 through the Storyhive Digital Shorts Edition. She was then a finalist in the Women In the Director's Chair Short Works Edition for her short film script, A Moment of Your Time. Late in 2018 Vesta was awarded another Storyhive grant for the music video, Take Down These Walls. In early 2019 she was also a runner up in the From Our Dark Side competition through WIFTV.
