Christopher Lorenz

I'm a driven and independently spirited filmmaker looking to play a part in the new, exciting and diverse Canadian film scene. Collaboration is key, and working with filmmakers and productions that share my desire for new approaches and new stories is essential to me. Since receiving my BFA in Film from UBC, I have been building my resumé as a director, writer and editor working for various production companies around town. My most recent project is a documentary short for Pink Buffalo Films and Telus Optik about a First Nations family and their struggle to remain on the isolated Vancouver Island beach they call home. Going forward, I want to continue to create projects that fulfill my creativity but also serve to empower the community and other filmmakers alike.
