Brittney Grabill is a actor/director from Edmonton, Alberta and an alumni of Storyhive, receiving the grant during the Female Filmmakers Digital Short Edition. Giving back to her community is very important. Brittney had major back surgery when she was thirteen at the Stollery Childrens Hospital and since playing sports were never the same, her therapeutic release was through acting and music. Brittney has helped write songs for organizations, as well as volunteered her time to the Stollery Childrens Hospital, the Poverty Reach Mission Foundation, the Suicide Awareness March and Missing Mutts Awareness Day. Brittney is excited to focus on writing and creating new contact to introduce herself as a director.
