Cedric Yu

Starting with a background in photojournalism, I’ve gone into cinematography with the continued passion of sharing stories that can help shape people’s perspectives and experiences. I love projects that show the unnoticed hard work and struggles of people not usually in the spotlight of the glamorous and viral. That said, I also enjoy being a part of telling stories from the fantasy and sci-fi worlds; which are usually cautionary tales or a romanticized/fantasized rememberance of our human history. I’m a blend of extremes, enjoying being able to float aimlessly underwater in scuba gear, or jump off a plane with a parachute. Look forward to working with like minded creatives!
