A writer since 8 years of age, Rana started her career in journalism and worked in Canadian News Talk Radio before her transition to the film industry. She started in development and film production and worked on Warner Bros, Disney, Apple and Hallmark productions before focusing solely on screenwriting. She has a BA from Concordia U and a diploma from BCIT.
