I'm a writer, editor and musician completing my MFA in Creative Writing at UBC in Vancouver. I write for VICE magazine and host a podcast with Room Magazine called Fainting Couch Feminists, where I interview women and genderqueer writers about what they love, write about, and how they're making the creative world a more inclusive space. I am hopeful that once I complete my thesis project (an audiobook, which is a musical memoir) I can continue to pursue audio journalism and screenwriting with a focus on projects that celebrate alternative perspectives and marginalized communities, whether through fiction or non-fiction. Bonus points if I can make people laugh along the way.
